Who we are
- CraigOwl Communities is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status.
- The organisation was established in 2002 to address disadvantage and enable people to reach their personal and career potential by providing learning and employment opportunities
- Our volunteer Board encompasses a range of expertise drawn from the voluntary and private sectors
- The Management Team has a long track record of success in design & development of learning and employment opportunities.
- The staff of 20+ are skilled and experienced across a wide range of themes -- IT and literacies, employability and jobsearch, personal and life skills, occupational skills and qualifications, counselling & guidance.

Learning Themes
- Life Skills - basic ability to cope with life - cooking, budgeting, self management, communication skills
- Personal Skills - self confidence and self esteem, interpersonal skills, personal presentation
- Core Skills - communication skills, working with others, using numbers, problem-solving and basic IT skills
- Literacy & Numeracy - gaining the reading, writing and number skills needed for everyday life and work
- ICT Skills - basic use of IT for fining information on the Internet, using email, writing letters and budgeting
- Occupational Skills - attendance and timekeeping, health and safety, working to instruction, working in a team
- Qualifications - ECDL, REHIS Health and Safety or Food Hygiene, CSCS, Customer Service VQs
- Employability - job search,. c.v, applications and letters, telephone skills, interviews
