Open Doors
Open Doors is an employability project offering the skills and experiences you need to move into a job or career in the hospitality sector cafés, hotels and restaurants, B&B, care homes, leisure facilities.
It doesn’t matter where you are now, we can help you to do any or all of the following:
- Gain confidence and self esteem
- Improve your reading, writing, and number skills
- Increase your IT skills
- Gain occupational skills and qualifications — customer service, health and safety, food hygiene
- Improve your job-seeking skills — writing applications and letters, interviews
- Experience a work placement in a work area of your choice
- Improve your prospects of going into work
- Enjoy yourself and meet new people, work as team, focus on your own goals
This project runs from our brand new refurbished and fully equipped premises in Coldside.
Information sessions run on Wednesday afternoons in our City Centre location but you can drop into Coldside any time to pick up more information. If you would prefer to arrange an informal chat first just call us on 01382 828281.
