Ormiston Learning Centre
The Ormiston Learning Centre is based in Ormiston Cresent. The aim of the centre is to provide a broad range of “first step” learning opportunities, free of charge, to local residents. All sessions are suited to individual needs and the facilities can be used as often as required. You can come and see someone before you start and there are drop-in sessions most days. Everybody is welcome, so come and let us know what you are interested in.
The centre allows people to meet, learn new skills, search up to date job vacancies and even gain qualifications. Above all we help people to have fun and gain confidence. We understand that taking the first steps into learning or work can be difficult, and we are here to help you to take these first steps.
